Trussville Utilities adjusted its water rates effective on all bills rendered on or after May 1, 2007. This rate adjustment was necessary because of the increase in operation and maintenance costs and debt service associated with the new state-of-the-art water filtration plant. This plant and associated facilities were mandated by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management because of the increased demand and growth in the Trussville area.

The Utilities Board has and always will strive to furnish our customers with the best water at the most reasonable price.

All Other	First 6,000 gallons per month @ $2.30 per 1000 gallons
	Over 6,000 gallons per month @ $2.30 per 1000 gallons
