What do I do if I smell gas?

Natural gas smells like rotten eggs due to the chemical additive ethyl mercaptan.

If you smell the odor, leave the area immediately.

Then notify us (1.205.655.3211 or 1.800.755.3211) and/or the fire department. Do not return until the safety personnel have said that it is safe to return.
